Our flagship hotel is on the brink of a bold new era. Its Grade II-listed building on the cusp of Park Lane has been sensitively refreshed by architects Holland Harvey. Interiors are being rejuvenated by Studio Mica and Studio Est. We have added a new signature restaurant helmed by a world-famous chef, alongside a dapper lounge and bar. Communal areas, bedrooms and suites have all been artfully redesigned; our spa and Grand Ballroom will re-emerge as modern icons.

Overview

The Graphic Design Executive/ Digital Artworker will be an exceptional design professional, working within our marketing team to create and edit original artwork in line with the brand specifications and promotional needs of the business. You will support all areas of the business with their design needs. You will be experienced in producing designs and graphics across a variety of different platforms, from digital advertising to in-hotel collateral. You will have a thorough knowledge of resizing, consistency, typography, and communicating messages via imagery. You will have a strong background of working within brand guidelines to create captivating and creative content.

Key Responsibilities

Work with marketing and the wider business to create campaign collateral across Montcalm Collection’s hotelsDevelop on-brand assets in varying formats that can be replicated across all channelsManage and expand a brand media library, with support from the Marketing Co-ordinatorProof and approve all creative media before releasing above the lineCheck and verify all print proofs before committing to final executionSupport the sales team by creating best-in-class support collateral for trade shows and events throughout the calendar yearMaintain a flexible attitude to hosting and entertaining clients, attending events, and occasional other out-of-hours responsibilities as neededDesign and develop templated artwork which can be quickly adapted by less specialised members of the teamRecommend changes and refreshes to the creative libraries when necessary.

Other Responsibilities

Working within the company’s policies and procedures.Working to improve the company''s social and environmental objectives.Attendance at company-wide events, including the staff conference, AGM, company training, etc.

Essential Qualifications and Person Specification

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they have the following key criteria, personal competencies and skills:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a graphic design role, preferably with a strong hospitality focusComprehensive knowledge of digital artwork software suites, particularly InDesign and Adobe CreativeProven ability to create unique visual assetsStrong experience working to briefs of varying levels of detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with Wordpress and digital marketing is desirable but not essential.Self-motivated and energeticStrong leadership skills with ability to act as a brand ambassador.A passion for social business.Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously.Experience of managing employees.Basic knowledge of updating the website content and design is ideal (not mandatory).Good knowledge of Excel and analytical tools.
