Job description - BookkeeperI''m working with an accountancy practice that is looking for a Bookkeeper to support their clients and keep day-to-day financial operations running smoothly. You''ll be involved in a mix of bookkeeping duties, helping maintain accurate records and contributing to an efficient, client-focused service.Duties:Accounts preparation to CT600 levelVAT preparation using various software systemsPersonal Tax preparationCommunication of tax liabilities etc to clients via telephone, email or in personBe responsible for meeting deadlines and filing returnsClear communication of information with external bodiesDemonstrate excellent phone etiquette in handling calls and queriesProvide general advice to clients as requiredRequirements:Proven experience in an Accountancy role, to include VAT, CT600 and Personal TaxComputer skills including Iris, Xero, Excel and Sage Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, ability to work autonomously and as a team memberAbility to multitask, prioritise work and manage time effectivelyStrong organisational skills to maintain a structured work environmentJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (lunch 1pm - 2pm)Experience:accounting: 3 years (minimum preferred)Work Location: In personIf this sounds of interest please submit your CV
