Network Engineer/Architect - MUST BE SC CLEARED - Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - FULL TIME ONSITE One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Network Engineer/Architect. Candidates must have a valid SC Clearance and be sole UK nationals. Role is based full time onsite in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria. Please find some details below: Based in Barrow 5 days a week f/t - please be aware this role will may involve rotational out of hours working, anticipating a 16:30 - 23:30 evening shift for 2 weeks, followed by 2 weeks on a standard 7.5 hr day shift - subject to change. MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA Role Description: The focus of your role Inputting into High Level Designs Creating Low Level designs from approved High Level Designs Configuring core infrastructure components eg Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, Routers, WAN, Firewalls, load balancers, Authentication Servers, Wifi controllers, management tooling. Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks. Performing testing to pre-determined plans and analyse results. Planning survey''s/surveying for cross/site distribution areas ( Fibre ) - checking for cabling power/space (photo''s to be taken) Installing new SDA Switches in readiness for OOH work for installation/take on and testing of kit, providing ELS and decom/removal of old Switches Installation/take on and testing of new SDA kit Key Skills o Network Architecture/Architecture (Compute/storage/End User) o Working in secure envi
