Business Development Manager Field based role South Coast region (covering from Southampton and Portsmouth on the South coast, across Surrey and Kent, and into South London. Circa £55K plus generous performance-based bonus and car allowance About the Role Our client, a building society based in The Midlands, is in need of a highly capable and personable Business Development Manager (BDM) to take ownership of the key South Coast territory. This is more than a sales role it requires someone who can follow complex cases from DIP through to completion, working closely with brokers, underwriters, and credit teams to deliver bespoke lending solutions, often in the high-value, complex mortgage and bridging space. This role would suit a seasoned BDM with a deep understanding of the specialist lending market or a roving underwriter looking to move into a more commercially focused, relationship-driven role. Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow a panel of mortgage intermediaries within the defined South Coast area. Build a strong sales pipeline from enquiry and DIP through to Credit Committee ensuring smooth handover to Case Management and Underwriting teams.
