My client is a specialist Damp, Mould and Condensation remediation company, dedicated to improving living conditions and restoring healthy environments in residential and commercial properties.

Their work goes beyond decoration, they tackle root causes of damp and mould to deliver long-term solutions to their clients.

They are seeking qualified and experienced Painters & Decorators to join their growing team. The role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality finishes but also understands the importance of preparation, compliance and working within a remediation-focused environment.

You will play a key role in restoring properties following damp & mould treatment, ensuring surfaces are not only visually improved but also protected against future issues.-

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, sealing and priming)
• Applying specialist mould-resistant paints and coatings
• Carry out high quality internal and external decorating works
• Identify and report signs of damp, condensation or structual concerns
• Work collaboratively with surveyors and remediation teams
• Ensure all work meets health & safety and industry standards
• Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment in occupied homes
• Communicate effectively with tenants, landlords and site managers

Skills & Experience

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Painting & Decorating-
• Proven Experience in residential or commercial decorating
• Experience working in damp/mould environments (desirable but not essential)
• Strong surface preparation skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of mould-resistant products and coatings (or willing to learn)
• Full UK driving license (Preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
