Role: Estimator Location: Rainham, Kent Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 4pm We are seeking an Estimator to join a busy and personable team. The Estimator will be responsible for overseeing all contractual, financial, and procurement aspects of construction projects.Estimator Duties:Prepare and analyse project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecastsConduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses for potential projectsCollaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather project informationEvaluate contractor bids and negotiate contractsMonitor project progress and provide regular cost reports to stakeholdersIdentify potential cost-saving measures and recommend value engineering optionsReview and approve contractor payment applicationsConduct site visits to assess progress and verify work completedBenefits: 45,000 - 55,000 per annum28 days holidayCompany pension2 weeks paid sick leave per annumEstimator Experience required:Proven experience as an Estimating in the metalwork or associated construction industryStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulationsProficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent numerical and analytical skillsAbility to interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong communication and negotiation skillsPlease bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
