Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk Hours: 07:00-15:30 (40 hours) Salary: 13.50ph+ (WEEKLY PAY) and regularly overtime available We are seeking an Assembly Operative to join our team in a mechanical role. Previous experience within the automotive industry would be highly beneficial.The position offers a starting pay of 13 per hour, with full training provided. Overtime is frequently available and paid at enhanced rates. Following a successful probation period, there will be a salary review with the potential for an increase.In this role, you will report directly to the Production Supervisor and assist in the assembly of engines, using a range of hand and power tools. Duties: - Complete assembly of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components by reading engineering drawingsOperating various hand, air, and power tools to manufacture machinery in a timely mannerPerform component re-work as and when neededResponsible for picking parts to a pick list accuratelySupporting the rest of the team by testing and preparing parts for final dispatch Ideally you will have a manufacturing background with some form of engineering qualification.
