About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored learning plans.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils achieve their full potential.
• Assist with personal care and promote positive behaviour strategies.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting).
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
