The Role: Adept Resourcing Engineering are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy and well-established engineering business in Rotherham. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of fabrication and welding projects, including pressure vessels, pipework, and general steelwork.Responsibilities:Set up, mark out, fabricate, tack and weld jobs as instructedWork confidently from engineering drawings, following both written and verbal instructionsCarry out welding using MIGOperate a range of workshop equipment including cranes, band saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, paint spraying tools, and hydraulic testing equipmentAssemble and finish products to the highest standards in a professional and safe mannerPack and label finished products for deliveryMaintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environmentOn occasion, work on client sites or stay away when requiredRequirements:Proven welding/fabrication experience within a workshop environmentCompetent in MIGAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workReliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and nights when requiredDesirable Experience:Working with pressure vessels and pipe fabricationUse of manipulators, turntables, rotators, and hydraulic testing equipmentThe Offer: 16 per hourOvertime opportunitiesVaried and challenging workLong-term career
