Personal Tax Manager - Reading Our client is a leading firm of accountants with offices across the South East and beyond. On their behalf we are looking for a driven and experienced Personal Tax Manager to take charge of our expanding portfolio of personal tax clients. What You ll Be Doing Managing a varied portfolio of clients and preparing personal tax returns. Reviewing tax returns prepared by the team. Handling HMRC matters. Advising clients on tax liabilities and planning opportunities across income tax, IHT, and more. Providing guidance on residency and disclosure issues. Leading the personal tax compliance process to ensure deadlines and KPIs are met. Supporting junior staff and reporting to the Tax Director. What We re Looking For 5+ years experience in a practice-based tax role. ATT or CTA qualified (or near completion). Strong client service skills and ability to work independently. Confident managing deadlines and juggling priorities. Excellent communicator written and verbal. Familiarity with Xero Tax, Digita, and advanced Excel skills.
