Our client is currently seeking an experienced Telephone Receptionist to join their busy office team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and highly organised individual with previous reception or switchboard experience who is confident managing a high volume of incoming calls in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role as the first point of contact for callers, ensuring calls are handled efficiently, professionally, and directed promptly to the appropriate department.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Transfer calls quickly and accurately across the business
- Take and relay messages where required
- Maintain an organised and efficient approach during busy periods
- Provide a professional first impression to clients and customers
- Previous reception, switchboard, or telephone-based customer service experience
- Excellent communication and telephone manner
- Confident working within a fast-paced office environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
- Ability to reliably commute to the office location
