Business Quality Officer Location: FarnboroughSalary £45,000-£50,000Hybrid options availableRole PurposeResponsible for reviewing client cases to ensure the suitability and quality of financial advice. The role supports risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and positive customer outcomes through effective file checking and feedback.Key ResponsibilitiesReview pre-sale client files to assess suitability of adviceEnsure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirementsIdentify risks, errors, or potential breachesProvide clear, constructive feedback to advisers and paraplannersEnsure remedial actions are completed within deadlinesMonitor trends and escalate risks where necessaryMaintain accurate records and meet productivity targetsWork closely with internal teams including Compliance, Paraplanning, Training and Competence, and Technical teamsCommunicate effectively with advisers and stakeholdersSkills and CompetenciesStrong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communicationAnalytical and investigative mindsetAbility to manage workload and meet targetsTactful and professional when delivering feedbackExperience and QualificationsExperience in financial services (pensions and investments preferred)Background in compliance, advisory, or quality assurance rolesLevel 4 Diploma (or working towards)Pension knowledge desirable (especially transfers)BenefitsLife assurance, income protection, critical illness coverPrivate medical insurancePension scheme25 days hol
