The Role: You''ll be instrumental in driving plant and process design, maintenance, and development, with a laser focus on safety, compliance, and innovation in a COMAH site. Responsibilities: Lead the design, inspection, and development of high-hazard chemical processes. Champion COMAH and REACH compliance, keeping us ahead of regulatory expectations.Drive HAZOPs, process optimisation, and safety envelope development.Oversee plant commissioning and modifications-from concept to documentation and delivery.Partner with HSE, regulators, and auditors to prove our performance.Play a pivotal role in our COMAH Intervention Programme, focusing on Process Safety and Aging Plant strategies.Train, mentor, and support operators during trials, commissioning, and process rollouts. The Candidate: Strong experience in chemical/process engineering within a COMAH-regulated environment. A proven track record in process safety, compliance, and plant optimisation.Sharp troubleshooting skills and a passion for continuous improvement.The confidence to lead multi-disciplinary teams and engage with senior stakeholders, regulators, and auditors.3 years minimum of experience in similar role.
