WP Overnight , part of the Team Updraft family. To be successful in this role you will have deep knowledge of WooCommerce. PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress are a must.You will have the option to choose your own hours up to 40 per week, and you can work remotely from anywhere in the world, we simply ask that you have 4 hours of crossover with UK working hours per day.The JobYou will be responsible for working on our website and WooCommerce related plugins, working together with a small, global team involved in development and testing.The day-to-day roleCollaborate with the team on our codebase to implement new features, bug fixes and improvementsWork in PHP, JavaScript and WordPress libraries to write clean, efficient and secure codeWrite inline documentation for your codeTest and produce testing guides for your codeManage your own time to fulfil your tasksResearch / debug problems on your own or in collaboration with other developers and our support teamYour exact responsibilities will depend on your experience and how this fits with the work being done by other members of the team.You’ll definitely need experience with:PHP – with experience of the latest frameworks and libraries.WordPress plugin development.WooCommerce development.It would be nice if you have experience with:JavaScript / jQuery.GitHub / GitLab / Git – nice to have, but can be learnt quickly by good developers used to alternatives like SVN.React.Trust -

You can choose to work from the comfort of your own home or, if you’re local, come to our shared workspace in Newport, Wales. For those who aren’t local, feel free to find a shared workspace close to you and we’ll pick up the tab. Some of us prefer the traditional arrangement of 9-5 working, and others don’t. You can work your hours to suit you. All we ask is that you are able to commit to a 4 hour crossover with the UK timezone so you’re available to collaborate with the team!Development opportunities -
