Job Title: CNC Miller Setter Operator

Shift: 4 day working week!! (37 hours)

Salary: Up to -17.50 DOE

Company Overview: A precision engineering and advanced manufacturing operation supporting sensitive programs across aerospace, defence, and high-technology industries.

The CNC Miller setter role:

The CNC Miller Setter Operator is responsible for the precision machining of complex components to aerospace and defence standards. The role requires setting and operating multi-axis CNC milling machines, ensuring all products meet strict quality, safety, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• CNC milling setting and operating 4 & 6 Axis
• Reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Working to tight tolerance and using quality measuring tools to check work.
• Working independently whilst maintain standards and project requirements.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining CNC machine and all associated equipment and machining area.
• Reporting into CNC Team Leader
• Understanding of how to programme would be beneficial.

Previous Experience:

• Apprentice trained or Proven experience as a CNC miller

• Experience in high precision manufacturing environment.
• Able to read & interpret technical drawings
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Knowledge of other machine operations (desirable)
