Chef / Housekeeper Hours: Full-time 8 am 5:30 pm Start Date: Asap Buds to Blossoms Nurseries Limited is seeking a dependable and conscientious Kitchen Assistant / Housekeeper to support our nursery team and help maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for our children. Chef / Housekeeper Key Responsibilities Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks in line with food hygiene regulations Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen, nursery rooms, toilets, and communal areas Managing laundry duties including washing, drying, and organising nursery linens Following all health and safety, infection control, and food safety procedures Working respectfully and appropriately in areas where children are present Essential Requirements: A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (mandatory) A good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness in an early years setting Reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility Desirable (but not essential) Experience in a kitchen or housekeeping role Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate What We Offer A supportive and welcoming nursery environment Training and ongoing professional development The opportunity to work as part of a committed early years team Buds to Blossoms Nurseries is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
