EMBS Engineering is partnering with a leading precision engineering manufacturer in the West Midlands to find a Project Quality Engineer. This company is a well-established entity in the precision engineering industry with a history of supplying safety-critical, highly complex components to globally recognised customers.

Responsibilities

As an Operational Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of project quality management and control. Your main goal is to ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual specifications and business processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Goods Inwards inspection (review of documents and physical inspections)
• Raising & Management of Supplier Non- Conformance Reports
• Traceability Control
• Patrol Inspection of the manufacturing facility
• Route card operations/tasks as per the planning system needs
• Ensuring process compliance
• Ensuring route card compliance
• Ensuring MITP compliance
• Client inspector liaison for Goods Received
• Notes/route card operation witnessing/MITP
• Operational Non-Conformance Report process
• support and expediting
• Root Cause Analysis
• Dismantling inspections
• Despatch / Final Release
• Support to Internal Audit

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven Engineering, Business Management, Manufacturing or related field
• Nuclear Industry experience required
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 3834, EN1090
• Lead/Internal Auditor in ISO 9001
• NCR generation and management
• 6-sigma trained or trained in other problem solving (8D, 6-Sigma, 5S, 7W, etc)
