PURPOSE To fulfill the customer product quality and delivery requirements by utilizing the appropriate level of skill-set and in accordance with the defined Technical Assembly Data. PRINCIPAL TASKS To read and understand Engineering Drawings / Specifications. To carry out assembly operations utilizing the approved tools / equipment, in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with the Technical Assembly Data criteria. To be responsible for the quality of own work, carry out defined quality procedures and report any concerns (no matter how slight) direct to the Supervisor and/ or defined Quality personnel. To carry out defined routine and minor maintenance of defined / designated equipment including excellent housekeeping within the assembly department. To be proactive in continuous improvement ideas to enhance Safety in the environment, product Quality and Delivery and reduce Cost. Carry out the necessary training as required in order to complete the job to a high standard. Ensure that all aspects of health and safety are taken into account whilst performing day-to-day duties.
