The

Solution Architect

at AllPoints Fibre (APFN) will design, develop, and implement IT solutions that align with our business objectives and technological strategies. This role would suit someone who has a technical background, ideally in solution design or architecture, who can support APFN in our commitment to providing excellent customer service to each other and our clients. You will bring knowledge in documenting blueprints and solution designs, and implement strategies that ensure the scalability and futureproofing of the solutions you design. We are on an exciting journey of discovery here at APFN and need a strong communicator with a problem-solving mindset who can work across our business to help us break down complex technical problems and develop solution-based approaches that will enable our success.

What You Will Be Doing

Creation and definition of High-Level designs and Architectures

Evaluation and recommendation of technical options against business and technical criteria

Review of low-level designs and providing assurance

Contribute to roadmap and project planning

Provide consultative guidance to the broader organisation on deployed capabilities, the impact to achieve changed business outcomes and the relationship between components in the IT landscape

About YouYou will be someone who can bring a wealth of experience communicating technical concepts to a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to problem-solve complex concepts and effectively communicate the proposed solutions. To be successful in the role you will have experience of documenting blueprints and solution design. The role is Reading based; applicants should be a commutable distance and open to office working 2 days a week.
