Senior Care Assistant Permanent Location: Norwich and surrounding areas Days and hours of work: Varies (day and night shifts available)Start Date: ASAPSalary/ Hourly rate:DOE We are recruiting for dedicated and committed Senior Care Assistants for a couple of clients based in and around Norwich on a permenant basis working with older residents with learning disabilitiesDuties:• Assisting residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing and grooming.• Communicating effectively with residents, their families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.• Supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as required.• Maintaining accurate records of residents progress and any change to their condition• Drive residents to appointments and outings as required• Fostering a warm welcoming atmosphere within the home• Participating in training and career development in senior care Requirements:• Previous experience in senior care or a similar care setting is essential• Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken with residents, colleagues and families• A valid UK drivers licence is essential• Leadership qualities and experience supervising and mentoring staff Benefits:• company pension scheme• overtime available Please contact our Healthcare Recruitment specialists
