If you have a passion for sustainability and are experienced in solar PV installations, we''d love to hear from you.What you''ll be doing:Installing, testing, and commissioning domestic and/or commercial solar PV systemsReading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawingsWorking with both AC and DC circuits, inverters, isolators, and carrying out fault findingUsing remote monitoring systems, data loggers, and mobile appsEnsuring all works meet health and safety standards and UK building regulationsPreparing and following risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)Reporting any unsafe appliances, installations, or equipmentOperating tools and machinery safelyTravelling locally or nationally depending on the projectFlexibility to work overtime or weekends if neededWhat we''re looking for:Recognised electrical apprenticeship and/or full electrical qualifications (Essential)18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (Essential)ECS Gold Card (Essential)Solar PV experience preferred - training availableUnderstanding of MCS Accreditation (Microgeneration Certification Scheme)Familiarity with G98/G99 (grid connection regs) and PAS 2030 (for retrofit/funded work)One or more of the following qualifications is desirable:City and Guilds 2399
