An established housing provider is seeking an Allocations Officer to join their team on a 12-week project during the rollout of a new allocations policy. Key Responsibilities: Engage with customers affected by changes to the allocations policy Process and update housing applications in line with revised criteria Cleanse and maintain the housing register for accuracy and compliance Provide advice and respond to Part 6 housing allocations enquiries Essential Experience and Skills: Previous experience working within a housing allocations team Strong knowledge of Part 6 of the Housing Act 1996 Proficiency in using the Abritas Allocations System Excellent communication and customer engagement skills This role is based on-site, offering a collaborative team environment and the chance to contribute to meaningful service improvements.
