We specialise in the replacement of major units and components on modern cars and LCV''s and have a large customer base including many of the largest insurance fleet and lease companies in the country. The majority of our work is engine replacements on vehicles under 7 years old. We are looking for a Technician who is looking to work with a friendly and supportive team. Key Areas of Responsibility:The repair and maintenance of modern cars and light commercial vehiclesConfirming / diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults with vehiclesReplacement of major unit components such as engines, gearbox, fuel systems and turbos Conducting vehicle health (safety) checks and performing routine maintenance of vehiclesCarrying out road testing and final vehicle checks before signing off repairs as completeWorking as part of a team liaising with the workshop manager as jobs progress and supporting the sales team with the technical information required to gain approval for repairs, such as diagnosing the route cause of an component failureEnsuring good working practices, following Health and Safety guidelines at all timesThe Ideal candidate: NVQ Level 3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or equivalent qualificationExperience carrying out rep
