Overseeing the planning and delivery of all Conference and Events operations, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail across every event.Collaborating with the Sales team and creating a welcoming environment on-site for clients and guests.Partnering with the Culinary team to maintain outstanding food presentation and service standards.Leading weekly function sheet meetings to align internal teams on event plans.Using your positive leadership style to manage and train the Events Team including producing staff rotas in collaboration with the Head of Conference and Events.Coordinating with the Kia Oval reception team to ensure event signage, paperwork, and administrative materials are prepared and distributed in advance.Monitoring till operations, oversee bar closures, and ensure the secure handling of cash and stock.Overseeing all catering setups, working closely with the hospitality logistics team to ensure conferences and events are set according to function sheets and SOPs.Maintaining stock levels and ensure all catering equipment is in good working order, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.What we are looking for

Proven experience in conference, events, or hospitality managementA passion for hospitalityThe ability to inspire and lead a dedicated conference and events teamExcellent communication skills and a background in developing meaningful client relationshipsA keen eye for detail and a love of organisation - managing multiple prioritiesDue to the nature of this role, we are looking for someone who is able to flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and match daysWhat you will get in return
