Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technician - Full-Time or Part Time Opportunities - FE College - Permanent - Uxbridge Role: Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technician Salary: £25,928 to £29,815 per annum including London Weighting - pro-rata for part time posts Location: Uxbridge, London Contract: Permanent - Full time (36 hours) / Part time (21.6 hours) - 52 weeks per year Working pattern for the part time post will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Deadline: 23rd April 2025 At Clarus Education, we are supporting a FE college who are seeking Electrical and Electronic Technicians to support students and staff in their Electrical / Electronic Engineering section. You would be expected to: • Prepare and maintain equipment for use by lecturing staff and students • Demonstrate the use of equipment and support the teaching teams in their delivery of the curriculum • Supervise students in the workshop ensuring that they comply with health and safety requirements and good workshop practice You will need to: • Possess a Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering • Have relevant experience in this area and the ability to work effectively with young people aged 16 - 19 • Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements • Have good communication and interpersonal skills Please note, the FE college are unable to offer sponsorship for this role Qualifications • Level 3 qualification in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering Knowledge and Experience
