Transport AdministratorLocation: Crick, NN6Salary: 14.42 per hour ( 16.16 with advanced holiday pay)Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 12:00 to 21:00Contract: Temporary to Permanent Gi Group are looking for a transport admin on a temp to perm basis to manage the transport and warehouse operations at the Crick site in line with daily requirements, ensuring the customer''s needs are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining full compliance with all health and safety processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities as a transport admin:Ensure all client''s processes and procedures are adhered to across all operational activities.Take responsibility for afternoon transport planning, including:Planning vehicle utilisation effectivelyDispatching and debriefing drivers in line with company policyEnsuring all paperwork is accurately completed and correctly filedMaintaining depot compliance on the Tacho management system and ensuring all infringements are reviewed and signed off promptlyInvestigating and resolving any missing mileageManaging vehicle breakdowns and defects promptlyProviding a clear, accurate handover at the end of the shiftCarry out a full yard and deck walk-around at the start and end of each shift, checking the system and taking any necessary actions.Manage fleet compliance, including booking services and MOTs, updating records and maintaining online tracking tools.Arrange agency driver cover as required and assign them appropriately within the daily transport p
