Technical Sales Manager

G&M Euro Tex are seeking a Technical Sales Account manager with excellent Commercial acumen to join our successful sales team at Claydon Business Park, Gt Blakenham, near Ipswich. G&M Euro Tex (part of the Tex Group), specialises in bespoke power generation, providing high-quality products throughout the world. Our engineering design, fabrication, manufacture and finishing teams combine to serve a wide range of clients including the MOD, NHS, and National Grid, providing power generation solutions for warships to care homes. This provides a varied, technically challenging and rewarding environment in which to work. The key requirements and responsibilities of the Technical Sales Manager will include but not be limited to the following:- Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing marine accounts
- Create and deliver technical quotations
- Seek, engage, and progress Business Development opportunities
- Translate customers ideas into tangible solutions
- Attend meetings within the UK and overseas
- Review and negotiation of client contracts, terms, and conditions
- Reporting on performance, risks, opportunities, and commercial outlook to the MD
- Operate as the single point of contact through the sales process
- Collaborate with the Engineering Design Team, Production and Test to ensure the correct technical outcomes for the client
- A history of business development/account growth underpinned by proven commercial awareness
- Self-motivated and strategic in approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Proven sales experience of the marine and/or Industrial power generation market
- Personable and emotionally intelligent with the ability to establish trust and rapport
- professional communicator with the ability to present to internal and external stakeholders
- Full clean UK driving licence required
- Salary range: £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on relevant experience.
- 37.5 hours per week, no weekends, half day Fridays.
