Supply Desk is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a successful and forward-thinking secondary school in Buckingham. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about helping students succeed in mathematics and confident across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  Deliver high-quality and engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum

  Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential to teach KS5 depending on experience)

  
  



• 
  

  Plan, prepare and assess students'' work to monitor and accelerate progress

  
  



• 
  

  Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

  
  



• 
  

  Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure lessons are accessible and challenging

  
  



• 
  

  Contribute to the Maths department''s development and share best practices

  
  



• 
  

  Support students'' wider academic journey through intervention, mentoring, or clubs

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  
  



• 
  

  Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

  
  



• 
  

  Proven experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting

  
  



• 
  

  Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities

  
  



• 
  

  Excellent classroom and behaviour management
