Pertemps are delighted to be supporting our esteemed client based in West Lothian in hiring a time served welder.Pay: 16.30 (dayshift) with nightshift allowance if workedLocation: BroxburnHours: 37 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Thursday 07:15 - 17:00 (Dayshift) or Monday to Thursday 21:15 - 07:00 (Nightshift)Contract: Temp to permMust have experience in STICK and either TIG or MIG weldingMain Responsibilities:Ensure all quality procedures are followed as detailedEnsure product is manufactured or finished to the correct specificationEnsure specification changes are highlighted and passed for amendmentCommunicate all production problems to Team Leader / Assistant Production ManagerEnsure all product identification is completeCarry out machine changeovers in conjunction with workload requirements and production targetsComply with Company Housekeeping standardsWork through and resolve process running faults, escalating as requiredResponsible for complying with Health and Safety procedures.Output targets to exceed 80% efficiencyRejects minimised aiming towards 0%Customer complaints minimised aiming towards 0%Machine breakdowns are avoided and minimised by ensuring correct machine set upDocumentation is legible and accurateRecurring manufacturing problems are reduced
