Teamjobs is looking for Precision Assemblers to join our client in Abingdon.

Main Responsibilities

• Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations.
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Lifting may be required generally no more than 30Lbs

**The ideal candidate may also be required to receive training in area of speciality - heat exchangers threading & fabrication process.**

Key Skills:

• Steady hands, as the fabrication process is manual.
• May require related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within heat exchangers manufacturing.
• Able to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the duties of the job role.
• Working under immediate supervision

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Pay: -1418 per hour, depending on experience.
