Our client is an established renewable energy company specialising in the development, design, construction and operation of commercial and utility scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage systems across the UK. This would suit an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer looking to be recognised as a technical expert within a highly regarded renewable energy business.

As a Lead Solar Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

* Design LV, MV and HV renewable energy systems

* Support tendering activities and technical project delivery

* Lead and review electrical designs across Solar PV and BESS projects

* Oversee both internal and external design teams

* Office based role in Colchester

The successful Lead Solar Design Engineer should have:

* Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering

* 18th Edition qualification

* Experience in the electrical design of BESS and Solar PV systems

* Strong technical understanding of renewable energy systems
