The successful candidate will work closely with underwriters, divisional leadership, and actuarial colleagues to help deliver the underwriting strategy and keep key stakeholders informed of developments and progress. Key responsibilitiesCollaborating with underwriters, senior underwriters, and divisional stakeholders to execute and refine underwriting strategyExercising sound and responsible underwriting judgementContributing proactively to team goals and strategy developmentRepresenting the company in broker and client meetings (with some travel as needed)Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokersIdentifying new business opportunities and growth areasApplying consistent underwriting practices in line with authority, guidelines, and risk appetiteMaintaining robust risk management controls, including aggregation and exposure guidelines Skills and experienceDemonstrable expertise in wholesale and retail War and Terrorism underwritingProven ability to deliver strong underwriting resultsBroad knowledge across claims, actuarial, product development, compliance, and regulatory functionsExperience working within complex, matrixed environmentsStrong communication and presentation skills; proactive and self-drivenTrack re
