Head Chef

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality - ideally in a Head Chef capacity, with a focus on leadership, creativity, and organisation - as well as a commitment to quality. This role requires strong culinary skills, menu development expertise, team management ability and an understanding of the demands of a successful wedding and special events venue.Key responsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production.Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends whilst meeting customer preferences.Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.Train and mentor kitchen team in food preparation techniques, presentation, and safety practices.Manage stock levels, order supplies, and control food costs to maximise profitability.Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and client satisfaction.Foster a positive and professional working environment.ExperienceProven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within an event driven hospitality setting.Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.BenefitsBalanced rotaCompany pensionDiscounted or free foodOn-site gymOn-site parking
