Team Manager - Children

Role: Team Manager (Manor Centre and School Attendance)Department: Children, Families and Education Services Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Team Manager on behalf of Luton Borough Council within their Children, Families and Education Services department. Main purpose of position: Managing and directing a Family Partnership Service Hub, staff team, resources and budgets, in order to identify, assess and provide services/intervention to support children, young people, families and carers. Improving school attendance is everybody''s business and is a priority for the service and the Council. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible to: Ensure all children and young people are enabled to meet their full potential to ensure positive outcomes including payment by results outcomes.Ensure effective risk management, decision making and preventative working to safeguard children and young people effectively in accordance with statutory requirements and policies.Establish the appropriate assessment required and identify the level of need for support/services.Take delegated responsibility to ensure that performance targets are met. Ensure that the work of the teams and performance targets are monitored.Recruit, motivate, train and develop staff within Council procedures and implement employment procedures.Manage and monitor delegated budgets.
