This role is ideal for someone with experience in production planning, coordination, or scheduling - someone who can keep jobs moving, deadlines met, and teams aligned.As Expeditor, you''ll take ownership of short-term scheduling: planning ahead, issuing work orders, managing production flow, and ensuring any disruptions are resolved quickly and efficiently.What you''ll be doing: Distributing work orders across departments to meet production targetsPrioritising urgent orders and managing changes to the schedule when neededConsolidating jobs where possible to improve workflow and reduce delaysPlanning print runs 2-4 weeks in advance to keep ahead of production deadlinesHandling issues on the shop floor including scrap, rework, and quarantined partsActing as the central point of contact for all production-related queriesSupporting communication between teams and ensuring everyone is alignedUsing internal systems and Excel to manage, update, and report on live jobs What we''re looking for:Experience in production planning, coordination, or expeditingStrong organisational and communication skillsA proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvementConfidence working across departments including the shop floorComfortable using planning systems and Excel for reportingAble to stay calm and focused
