Our Geo-Environmental and Mining (GEM) Business Unit comprises Land Quality, Ground Investigation, Groundwater and Geothermal and Mining disciplines undertaking a diverse range of projects across numerous sectors incl. Energy, Defence, Property and Government Services.The successful candidate will become a member of this 100 strong Business Unit delivering focused solutions for our growing key client base, with emphasis on technical excellence, client care and effective project management. He or she will be working alongside other land quality, environmental due diligence, ground investigation, groundwater and geo-technical specialists to deliver holistic solutions to clients'' needs in these areas. Additionally, the successful candidate will be collaborating with geo-environmental teams in other offices and with other specialists in the planning, environment and engineering teams. Key attributes required for the position are sound technical knowledge, enthusiasm, self-motivation and excellent verbal and written communication skills. We anticipate the role will require approximately 50% of your time will be site based (typically around London and the SE but occasionally further afield nationally and internationally) and 50% will be office based, but this may vary as workload dictates.You will hold a degree in geology, engineering geology, hydrogeology or relevant environmental science discipline.
