Stores Operative - CwmbranPermanent working days Monday - Friday 27,000 pa and excellent benefits We are recruiting for a Stores Operative for our client based in Cwmbran, reporting to the UK Operations Manager.Stores Operative duties include: Responsibility for handling, checking goods inwards, goods outwards and inventory control functions of main stores. Supervision of stock components from work in progress to finished goods, as well as outgoing packages while assuming accuracy and quality. Operation of related company equipment such as forklifts, tools and testing equipment. Co-coordinating company freight inwards and outwards activities, with freight forwarding services. Responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements. Ensure that the appropriate safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment are adhered to. Upkeep / maintenance of stores area - Including company Tools, Equipment and Assets. Adherence to companies ISO 9000 Quality, and Health and Safety procedures. Other duties as required to support company business.Stores Operative skills/experience: The ability to work on your own initiative and also as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills. Possess a Mechanically inclined mindset. Excellent interpersonal / communication skills. A flexible and innovative approach to work. Ability to work with company Inventory Management and other company IT systems. Secondary level education or equivalent
