Ensuring quality, consistency and beautifully presented dishes are produced for our customers. Within this role you must have previous experience working in a kitchen environment as a sous chef.To oversee the management and organisation of the kitchen this are some of the main functions of the role:Main ResponsiblesTo supervise kitchen operation so as to ensure that outgoing food is as specified and of a consistently high standardTo ensure that the requirements of Food and Hygiene and Health and Safety legislation are complied withTo prepare and produce food to the highest standard and specifications given by Senior Kitchen staffTo continually review employee performance and provide direct feedback and coaching where requiredEnsuring that Company accounting and control procedures are adhered toLiaise closely with the Casino Managers and the FoH teamTo ensure that all areas of the kitchen are maintained to a high standard at all times and ensure any maintenance requirements are reported and promptly actionedTo ensure the highest possible standards of customer service are developed and provided by courteous and technically competent staffTo lead by example in relation to displaying the four key behaviours of the Customer Service modelTo regularly observe and review individual employees documenting such activity and providing appropriate feedback, coaching and support where requiredTo positively support company wide customer service initiativesTo monitor and take fair and consistent action in relation to employee conduct, and performance issuesTo ensure the highest possible standards of appearance, hygiene and personal grooming is maintained by staff at all timesTo ensure individual staff needs are dealt with professionally and when necessary confidentiallyTo uphold and support the carrying out of the Clubs objectivesTo create by example an environment which all staff will work as a teamTo support by example the creation of an environment where all employees are encouraged to put forward ideas and views to management which positively influence the performance of the unitTo support two way communication through effective contribution to management meetings and the holding of regular departmental meetings and Employee/Staff Forum meetings and eventsTo ensure that a good relationship is upheld between other departments at all times to ensure guest experience is optimisedWho You ArePro-active with the ability to work unsupervisedAbility to motivate and train team membersHigh level of flexibility with the role and working hoursQualification in Food SafetyKnowledge of the Club and Company Health and Safety and Hygiene proceduresAbility to implement new policies and proceduresGood communication skills with peers and superiors and other departmentsOrganised and methodicalAble to communicate in clear and concise EnglishPositive and upbeat attitudeA strong work ethic with a passion for exceeding expectationsEncourage and contribute toward a culture that supports everyone to be the best that they can bePlease Note: You must be aged 18 or above and have the right to work in the UK
