Analytical Development Chemist SW England Role : Permanent Salary : Attractive (depending on skills and experience) Our SW based client manufacture a range of Pharmaceutical products, they are actively looking to recruit an Analytical Development Chemist to join their team This is a hands on role where the successful candidate will be developing, improving and validating analytical methods using a range of techniques , including HPLC Duties for this position will include : Working as a part of the analytical team and providing analytical support and testing for Raw Materials, Intermediates and Finished products Understanding new product dosage forms (tablets) to successfully develop robust analytical methods using a variety of techniques, including HPLC, dissolution Setting up appropriate stability testing programs to generate key data to support method effectiveness Transferring methods to the QC team, training other Analysts Trouble shooting instrumentation , resolving analytical technical challenges Ensuring all activities are carried out to GMP / HandS standards and guidelines at all times This role may involve occasional shift work cover , working 6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm so some flexibility on hours may be needed Applications are invited from candidates with a HNC / BSc in Chemistry (or related subject) together with proven demonstrable method development and validation skills supporting a healthcare GMP manufacturing environment This is a permanent position offer
