Class 2 Driver Location: IrlamShifts: Monday to Friday, start times from 6amPay Rate: 30,677 per annumJob Type: Temporary to PermanentAbout the Role:A well-established flooring distribution company is seeking Class 2 (CAT C) Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join their team in Irlam.This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy manual handling, including lifting, unloading carpets and flooring products, and handballing pallet goods.Drivers will be responsible for delivering flooring products to retail stores and high street locations This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career stability and progression.As part of the client''s recycling programme Class 2 drivers have the opportunity to earn more through their Tube return scheme, ( approx 75 extra per week) As this is a temp to Perm role the first 15 weeks will be paid weekly, this is a job and finish role ( 45 hrs per week guarantee ) Key Responsibilities:Driving long or short distances Multi-drop between 15 to 25 drops per day Maintain Good Customer service + direct client communication - Lifting and carrying goods , loading and unloading, a lot of heavy lifting Making sure loads are safely secured Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary Completing delivery paperwork or Electronic App Comply with Driver Hour Tacho and road Regulations Drive in an efficient and economical manner Carrying out daily vehicle checks (start + end of shift) Report and correctly any accident or incident
