This elegant restaurant will showcase omakase-style tasting menus, seasonal premium ingredients, and contemporary Japanese aesthetics. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be highly experienced and skilled Head Sushi Chef with an area of expertise in omakase style tasting menu.Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the Sushi Team, ensuring the highest standards of preparation and presentation with a focus in the area of omakase inspired tasting menusDevelop and innovate new sushi creations while maintaining traditional techniques and flavoursManage live sushi and robata counters, engaging with guests to enhance their dining experienceOversee inventory, ordering, and quality control to maintain consistency and freshnessTrain, mentor, and inspire junior chefs, fostering a culture of excellenceUphold food hygiene and safety standards at all times.Qualifications:Formal training in Japanese cuisineMastery of traditional sushi preparation, knife skills, and presentationProven experience as a Head Sushi Chef in high-end or Michelin-starred establishmentsStrong knowledge of Japanese ingredients and culinary techniquesAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentExcellent leadership and communication skillsFluency in English; knowledge of Japanese is an advantagePassionate about Japanese culinary arts and delivering exceptional guest experiencesOpen to preparing Halal cuisineWilling and be able to relocate to Dubai.Person Specification:Bring in a positive and can-do attitudeBeen a Team PlayerHonesty and integrity.Availability: November 2025Must already have the right to work and live in the UK without any restrictions.The Social Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes Applicant from all walks of life.
