You will also act as a stand-in Production Manager when required, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with company policies and safety standards.As the Assistant Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities would be:Monitor production equipment to ensure continuous and efficient manufacturing of chemical products.Identify and respond promptly to production and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.Assist with troubleshooting and rectifying mechanical and liaise with external contractors for maintenance, repair, and project work.Supervise contractor activities on site to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.Manage and issue Permits to Work (PTW) for maintenance, contractor activities, and other non-routine tasks.Monitor and maintain raw materials, finished goods, and consumable inventories.Work closely with the logistics and procurement
