You''ll play a key role in scaling the Innovation team from a single autonomous unit into a network of aligned, empowered teams which are supported by a core group of servant leaders. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with line management responsibilities, offering the opportunity to mentor engineers, influence organisational architecture, and drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies-including generative AI-to transform underwriting experiences.Bring significant experience designing and developing complex software solutions, with a strong track record of leading high-performing development teams.Possess strong knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices, and thrive in Agile environments.Are proficient in React and FastAPI, with hands-on experience deploying cloud-native applications in AWS.Have a passion for coaching and mentoring engineers, and a desire to build autonomous, delivery-focused teams.Are excited by the potential of generative AI and emerging technologies to reshape how we work.This is a permanent position offering up to 90,000 per annum
