Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Lancashire County Council''s Child and Youth Justice Team based in Burnley. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of -36 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Work with children and young people involved in or at risk of entering the youth justice system, including those subject to out-of-court disposals, Youth Conditional Cautions, and court orders.
- Complete AssetPlus assessments, risk of serious harm (ROSH), and safety and well-being assessments to inform intervention planning.
- Develop and deliver tailored intervention plans aimed at reducing offending, addressing risk factors, and supporting positive outcomes.
Engage young people using a trauma-informed and restorative approach, promoting responsibility and behaviour change. - Collaborate with multi-agency partners including police, education, CAMHS, substance misuse services, and family support to ensure coordinated care.
- Attend and contribute to Youth Court proceedings, Referral Order Panels, and multi-agency risk panels where necessary.
- Provide intensive support to families to improve relationships, reduce risk, and support rehabilitation.
- Work with victims of youth crime where appropriate, in line with restorative justice principles.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and reflective case records and ensure compliance with local safeguarding and youth justice protocols.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, training, and continuous professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Social Work England registered
- Enhanced DBS
