FAFS Fire and Security is at the forefront of fire safety technology and compliance. We are seeking a highly skilled Passive Fire Projects Manager to lead our projects in ensuring the effective installation and management of passive fire protection systems. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for high-quality service and compliance with industry standards.

Basic Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all phases of passive fire protection projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budgetDevelop project plans, schedules, and budgets; allocate resources effectively and monitor project progressServe as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that ariseEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in passive fire protectionLead and mentor project teams, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvementConduct site inspections and assessments to ensure the quality of work meets our high standardsCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of passive fire protection measures with other systemsMaintain detailed project documentation and reports for auditing and compliance purposes

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in project management within the fire protection or construction industry, with a focus on passive fire measuresStrong understanding of regulations and standards relevant to passive fire protection, including BS 476 and BS 8214Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective client and team interactionsExperience in managing budgets, timelines, and resources efficientlyReputable project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirableFull driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as requiredA proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
