Our client are a growing manufacturer of a range of natural stone & engineered stone ( Slips/panelling), brick and paving veneers that are light, versatile and easy to install. They offer architects, developers and self builders a large choice of indoor and outdoor applications and have been developing as a business for the past 15 years.

They are now looking to recruit a southern based Area Sales manager to further develop and grow the region- which largely takes in Dorset, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, London, Surrey and part of the Northern home counties. You will take a proactive approach to new business developent as well as nurture and grow existing accounts within the independent and national merchant sector. Around 60-70% of your-time will be working with them and the remainder with Contractors and specifiers. You will be an outgoing salesperson with a ''hunter'' mentality and ideally will have sold to the merchants on patch. If you have any experience in selling a heavy side product that would be ideal though not essential. You might be working for a merchant wanting to specialise or possibly working for another manufacturer and wish to join a thriving business where staff retention is very high.
