OverviewLead Angular Developer - Development Team Lead are trusted to work closely with a wide range of clients on exciting projects with real-world purpose and impact.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical leadership to the team in the development, operation and ongoing improvement of the digital products.

Build and maintain a culture of continuous delivery and improvement, ensuring that key systems are regularly analysed, maintained and improved.

Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with strategic objectives.

Drive architectural design sessions and champion best practices in software engineering and testing.

Lead sprint planning and technical reviews, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

Act as escalation point for technical blockers, supporting root-cause analysis and recovery plans.

Support technical onboarding of new engineers and ensure successful knowledge transfer processes.

Experience of working within Public Sector or within Government.

Angular - Deep knowledge of modern Angular (v10+), component-driven architecture and state management.

Node.js - Strong backend design and development experience with Express or equivalent frameworks.

Azure Cloud - Extensive experience designing and deploying applications within Azure.

Terraform - Proficient in IaC and environment automation.

CI/CD - Expertise in Jenkins pipelines, automated testing, and containerisation with Docker/Kubernetes.

GIT and DevOps - Skilled in branching strategies, release management, and version control best practices.

Agile Tools - Jira and Confluence for workflow and documentation.
