Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Chef to join our vibrant new culinary team. Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Pizza preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
• Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to pizza making and general meal preparation
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
• Previous experience working in a busy kitchen or restaurant setting is desirable
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
