A global media organization is seeking a Finance Manager to lead international financial controls within its news division. This role supports financial governance, risk management, and compliance across a complex, international operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.

• Manage financial control risks and coordinate with audit and compliance stakeholders.

• Conduct remote and on-site reviews of international bureaux to assess and enhance financial controls.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including system upgrades (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks, Concur).

• Support operational and structural changes, including opening or restructuring international offices.

• Approve key updates to financial control documentation and delegated authorities.

Requirements:

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

• Strong background in financial controls, audit, and risk management.

• Proven leadership and people management experience.
