Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
Salary: £22,000 - £26,382 Per Annum, DOE.
Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

About The Company:

They are small and expanding electronics company established in the pro-audio field. The company require a junior/trainee repair technician capable of repairing audio amplifiers, mixers, loudspeakers and other audio equipment to board level and eventually component level. Suitable candidates should be able to achieve the following: -
• Read circuit schematics to at least a basic level
• Solder and de-solder components from a circuit board
• Understand how to use basic measuring equipment such as an oscilloscope and multimeter
• Recognize electronic components
• Computer literate, further training will be given.
Some of the items they repair work at high voltage. An understanding of how to work with high voltage is a must. You will be trained on this aspect.
The company expect the chosen candidate to work within their health and safety policies. In addition, a chosen candidate will be expected to manage themselves to a certain extent.
Experience working within a small team would be advantageous. An interest in music and or audio is also advantageous.
Starting salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications

Candidate Requirements:

• Diagnose and repair electronic devices using hand tools and schematics.
• Conduct routine maintenance on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and repair techniques.
• Utilize computer networking skills to assist in the setup and configuration of devices.
